knock-sensor logging possible?

In Shiv's review of the Turbo Tuner, the implication seems to be that there is only an indirect means to know about knocking via the ignition advance logging:

"...I also logged ignition advance with and without the Turbo Tuner. As expected timing was 2-3 degrees lower, under full boost, with the Turbo Tuner. I can only conclude that the timing reduction was induced by the factory ECU's knock control/adapative capabilities. Not by any signal manipulation from the Turbo Tuner itself..."

Is it possible to log the signal from the knock sensor? We used a J&S monitor for the RX-7, but is something similar available for the 335i?
