What is a hydro unit

i have a hydro unit and dont know what it is but someone has asked me to sell it for them

Looks like a Hydraulic Actuator with a small reservoir. (opaque plastic section with jubilee clip)

The square section on the end of the shaft looks like it slots onto a valve to operate it.

Any more pics showing the manufacturer info and serial number (Blue and white label)

Is it from a BMW?

If it an Air Hydro converter. It converts air pressure into hydraulic pressure.

I assume this is to do with the convertible hood cover?

after doing a bit of homework on this part it seems its a unit that is used on power hoods or even to lift a boonet up on the 7 series.
its in the original bmw box and is unused and still for sale at the bmw dealers for around £700
