^^^^ yep!

more like 5 orange, 3 white, two black, one blue at minimum!

people underestimate the amount of pads they will go through. Its easier to buy more pads and wash all at the end of a detail than it is to wash them during the job/detail.

on a three step job, going for 100%, I end up with about 15 pads...on one car

Well that sucks I never thought about it. There information section said about 2 panels per pad for some reason that didn't compute in my head. Well hope napa or autozone has some that's about the best I can do around here. Thanks for the heads up fellas

I was thinking of buying a similar set up only with one of the pad kits instead. Maybe I should rethink the amount of pads I was going to get.

Where did you get that coupon code? Can others use it?

I hate to pile on, but it looks like only 2 pads and a backing plate.....and 4" pads at that. Skip past trying to source decent pads locally, go back to DI and get some 5.5" pads and a backing plate to fit. While you COULD do a pretty good job given what you've got, it will take you WEEKS to detail your car with only 2 4" pads.

Thank you for the support it's sincerely appreciated. I do agree a few more pads would be a huge help, especially with the smaller pads. You can get a little more mileage from each pad if you continue to clean the face of the pad but eventually it will become too saturated to provide optimal results. If you need any assistance please don't hesitate to e-mail us.

Yeah i'm going to order more pads. I went with the 4" cause the detailing guide said you can work faster with more control using a smaller pad. i will give it a try for now if it takes to long i will get some bigger ones.

it will take too long, so get the 5.5" NOW and save your time!

4" are easier to control on the rotary, on the PC, there really is no difference in control as its easy

Well ordered the rest of the stuff last night dropped another 70 bucks but should have enought stuff to get the job done. Got some more orange white and black along with some purple dodo juice so I can wax after I'm done polishing and some chem guys soap. I'm excited to get some depth and clarity to my paint. Thanks again for the replies and help,
