Jb4 firm ware update question

I have a jb4 and I did the new update over the weekend. Love all the new features, however I noticed that my car now redlined at 6500. Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?

Just to be clear, are you saying that the tach did not go past 6,500 RPM and you bounced it off the rev-limiter, or are you saying that the flashers marking the shift point went off at 6,500 RPM?

**Correction**

1) With ignition in "on" position, press down button on both volume and track steering wheel controls.

2) Hit the volume + button 5 times until you reach approx 50mph

3) Hit Track + button 2 times until you reach approx 2,000rpm

Gauges will set to 335.

To exit, hit the Volume - button until gauges are restored to normal positions in ignition "on" position.

To recalibrate, Hit volume + 1 time, then hit track + button 5 times.

The JB does not alter the Rev limiter so not sure what you are seeing. There is a shift indicator (hazard light flashing) that can be set by RPM.

I am going to check the codes and see if there something there. Where can I find how to translate the codes?

Just post what you find on here so we can help. If you have the firmware interface, it'll show the description of each code.

Or check above in the sticky http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=264464
