Space grey 320i on its way
Hi cipone. Ordered a 320i as well. Testdrove the engine in a e93 (convertible). Of course not as powerful as the 6-cylinder engines. But a nice ride and very fuel efficient! My 320i space grey/Jade grey/piano black trim is expected end of July... can't wait!!!!

According to my data sheet, the 320i is roughly as efficient as the 325d and isn't far off in terms of performance. That's fairly impressive if you ask me. Though I have no direct experience with the new 320i (I have driven the 320d), by the numbers alone it does look good.

I have just put an order on a 320ci.
What impressed me the most in this car are the fuel consumption figures. If these are true it's more economical compared to most of the 1.6 liter cars. It's also far more economical than the 2.0 liter Z4 which has a less powerfull and less torquey powerplant |

I have a new E92 320I which is 3 weeks old with 800 miles on the clock.
At the moment I'm getting 31mpg on a mix of Urban / Motorway driving. It's Steptronic so it's not going to be as efficient as a manual but should get better as the engin is run in. |

Recently drove a loaded automatic 320i convertible for several days -- nice free upgrade because the rental co. was out of the car I had reserved.
Surprised at the engine's peppiness as well, despite the AT and the extra weight of the E93. The engine becomes much less lively above 110 mph, but in DS mode is quite responsive under that speed. I averaged 10.7l/100km, or about 22mpg, with several hundred miles of mostly highway driving (average speed of about 75mph, including many bouts at 90-100mph on German highways). Will try to provide a longer review later in the week. |

Its a good car and will feel very refined even though its a 4 cylinder engine. Congratulations on your choice

Got my 320i M Sport last week. Is a pretty nice engine, picks up nicely and sounds quite throaty too. Still running her in so not thrashed it yet, but seems ok for the fuel economy it gets. I am getting 31mpg and that is all town driving. Expect that to improve once i get a few more miles on and expect good things from a motorway trip.

Is it possible any of you guys who already got the car (320i)
to post a video so we can hear the engine on idle and when accelerating from outside or inside of the car? |
