Thanks for the compliment my friend. It is our family's first foray into the world of BMW, and so far, we are having a great experience.

Thanks for your compliment my friend! I was taking a drive out in the country and found a nice spot so decided to get the camera out and take some photos. Yes, I'm very happy with the venetian beige & mineral grey combo. Of course, keeping a 'light' interior may take a bit of an effort to keep clean, but I think I'm up to the task. That last photo of the Xenons may be one of my favorites. Gotta love the "Angel Eyes"! Thanks again for visiting my thread. Cheers!

Hey there my friend! Great to see you here also in the Bimmerpost forum! I'm honestly really looking forward to your Mojave Metallic order. From time to time I wonder how that would have looked as well. With your exterior and interior color choice, I think you truly have a WINNER! Cheers and can't wait to see your photos!

Thanks for your compliments my friend! I got a few essential packages. And I saw from your sig you also have put in your order for an F30 Mineral Grey! And talk about tricked out...Your Bimmer, my friend, is what would be correctly termed as truly 'tricked out'! Well done!!!! I would like to be one of the first to officially welcome you to the Mineral Grey brethren! Cheers and thanks for visiting my thread and look forward to seeing your new Bimmer in the near future!

Thanks I can't wait to get mine indeed, I think the colors will be very nice, especially in the sun from what I've seen on the 5 series with that color. I will make sure to post quite some pics once I have it

Another cool thing is that I'm the first in my state to have Mojave, from what I hear most people here are visual people and they don't dare to buy a color if they can't see it in person. I kind of expect others to order it once I have it, the same thing happened with my (Bronze) X5 lol

You are definitely going to be turning heads in Hawaii with the arrival of your Mojave. Actually, if the Mojave Metallic would have been at our local dealership and combo'ed with the Venetian Beige, I may have gone for the Mojave since we already have a silver '12 Benz SLK 350. Oh well....maybe an X5 in Mojave Metallic may be in the future. By in the future, I mean....a couple of years, not anytime soon....haha!

If you don't mind the high mileage on the X5, you should certainly do it, it's a beautiful car imho. However, I calculated that, with an average of 10K miles per year, it saves us about $150, maybe up to $200 per month in gas alone with the F30, which I think is quite a lot

My wife was actually the one who wanted to see it before buying it (shes local so perhaps that's why lol), I think I would've bought it without seeing. However, they had a Mojave w/ beige 5 series on the shelf (they stack their stock lol) and pulled it out for her to see if she liked it. Idk what we would've gone with if she didn't see it or liked it lol

But, in the end, I do have to say the grey one looks very good there together with the silver Benz in your garage

That may be the main issue re: the X5....The high mileage. And I also have seen pics of the Range Rover Evoque. I guess its in the 'eyes of the beholder', but I think the Evoque is quite stunning. But then after purchasing our first Bimmer I feel.... hahaha!! I really am looking forward to seeing your Mojave pics. That Mojave metallic will be shining fiercely in the Hawaiian sun. I'm sure this will be the facial expressions you will encounter: !

Thanks for the compliments bro! Cheers!

Thanks for the compliment my friend. What specifically makes you nervous about the front?

Agreed, the Range Rover does look but, yeah, it's no Bimmer haha xD

Will post the pics as soon as I can, hopefully we have better weather than now though, it's just rain, storm and even hail here lately. Today even two tornado's formed and destroyed a house (or was it 1 tornado and 2 houses? I forgot haha).

Do you happen to have any higher-res versions of these pics? I'm getting "Private page" error on Flickr when clicking on any of them.

The lighting looks fantastic in your pics and it seems to really highlight the properties of the Mineral Grey... but I want to see it bigger!

Thanks for the compliments my friend. Yes, I agree...The lighting does highlight the 'curves and form' of the Bimmer. But I must say, I never meant to do that, it was just a lucky accident, because by no means am I a good photographer.

When I get home later tonight I will upload larger pics. Cheers!
