You are joking right? Your sales person did not give you a spec sheet?

+1

Better call your sales and ask him/her to explain. Otherwise tell him/her to forget about the commission.

The base car in HK only comes with sport auto (+ paddles shift and sport steering wheel) all others are options. Most popular options they pre order are sunroof and rear cam.

If your car is 49x,xxx then it have rear cam and sunroof, if yours is 47x,xxx is only have one of the above (most likely sunroof) if yours is 45x,xxx it only have sport auto.

Please check with your sales guy, we will bad mouth him / her for you if they don't help you. Is like in our group of BMW friends, one good deed from my salesman now all my friend who buys BM go find him. Right RR?

Yes, our salesman might not be the best but at least he's trustful!

So with the base model of 520i, when change from comfort > sport > sport + it only changes the responses of the transmission and it does not change the damper of the shocks? Damper control is an option? The sales told me it also changes the ride performance He said active drive is an option which the computer actively monitor road condition and change the damper automatically!

My sales told me the same too, don't trust those un-competent sales.

You can feel the steering being a bit heavier then comfort, but it doesn't change the ride and it doesn't really change the handling characteristic as much as they claim to be.

But when I change from comfort to sport, the throttle us very sensitive.

When I drove at 80km/h, then switch to sport, the rpm jump from 1300 to 2200km and response quick when I step on a bit more

I still puzzling about the difference between normal and sport! I can only feel the throttle is more sensitive and heavier steering... Some said it also made the sway bar harder, but I am not sure on that.

Yeah I ask the mechanics at BMW and they are not really sure how the system work. So maybe it's just the throttle and steering response differently. Also they will never have to find out how to fix it as it's just computer programming stuff so they don't know how the system work.
