Just ordered! 328i Sport Line 6MT

It's been a long time coming for me, as I think back to when I was drooling over spy shots of the F30 wearing zebra camo, but I have finally ordered one of my own!

2012 F30 328i
Mineral Grey
Black Leather
Aluminum trim w/ red accent
Sport Line
Premium Package
Premium Audio Package
Technology Package
Xenon Headlights
Adaptive M Suspension
Split-fold-down-rear seat
BMW Assist with Enhanced Bluetooth and USB
BMW Apps
Manual Transmission

I'll be doing Performance Center Delivery as well.

Mad props to Adrian Avila at BMW South Atlanta for the fantastic deal. It is so refreshing to be working with an honest, responsive CA.

Oh... by the way... minor thing of note...

It's already in production.

Let's just say that's a tad bit quicker than I had anticipated...

That dealer doesn't know what they're talking about. Adaptive M Suspension has been available since day one.

I don't see it available on BMW's website too.

Is it standard in the sport package?

BMW's website is wack, I know it's hard to believe but their configurator is broken. The bottom line is that with the Sport Line package, "M Sport Suspension" option 704 is standard equipment. Option 2VF, "Adaptive M Suspension" is a $900 option that replaces option 704. Both of these suspension types are only available on a Sport Line car (and M Sport package, coming later this year)

If you go to your dealer and say "I want sport line package" you will get regular passive M Sport Suspension. If you say "I want sport line package along with the Adaptive M Suspension" you will get... well, you can figure it out from here.

Called the 1-800 # this morning and the friendly robotic voiced woman indicated production has completed and is awaiting transport to the port!

Only thing that's a head scratcher for me at this point is that the PCD gave me a date of May 10th... seems odd to have a nearly 2 month gap between completion of production & delivery, no?

East. The performance center is in Greenville, South Carolina, so only a couple days from the port in Brunswick to there, give or take a day or so.

Your car will be in the US before May. Prob the last week of April as the latest.

Sounds about right. I think BMW is adding a lot of "contingency time" into their schedules to make absolutely sure that when their customers show up for PCD that their cars are ready & waiting. Sure would suck to get close to the date & find out your car is still in transport!

They do tell you not to reserve flights until 3 weeks before the delivery so I guess they expect the car to be in their possession, or at least on US soil, a minimum of 3 weeks prior. Makes sense...

PCD builds in lots of extra time for contingencies....my CA (335 on order) indicated I could probably get my car a full month earlier if I opted for delivery at the dealer. But by this time you should have the PCD delivery confirmation telling you about the Marriott, blah blah blah.
