FMIC freebie

So this nice 2008 335i is willing to donate this aftermarket FMIC to me for free but I'm afraid it's the much maligned "e-bay intercooler" by what little I can see. Could anyone shed some light on it before I need to tear into the car to find out?

Yea thats the ebay kind bc the inlet and outlet go out to the side from what it looks like in that picture

I had an AA fmic on my 135i which is one of the most cutting intercoolers and i decided hpf with my 1m still triming but alot less.


My conclusion take the intercooler get as much cash from it and buy and ETS, HPF, AMS, or HELIX all of them are great intercoolers for the n54. ETS 5" will also be a direct fit

Lol...of course it is No way it could be one of the good ones...that would just be too good to be true!

I have hpf a little bit of cutting but great intercooler either way you cant go wrong
