Front spring broken!
Did a 150mile round trip Weds car ran fine, so parked it up for two days for a rest!
Got in this morning and went to drive off, but oh no one of the front springs has broken whilst the car sat idle Couldn't really move the car as the spring is sticking into the inside of the alloy. Does extended fully comp warranty cover suspension??? Cars only done 32kmiles |

I have a full set of Genuine D3 springs here from a 335d, as new, if you find you need the front one.
PM me. Steve in Somerset.

Ok thanks for the offer.
For time being its been diagnosed as mechanical failure and recovered by BMW to Coopers for further inspection. Now glad I paid £40 odd quid a month to extend the warranty! |

Yes, reassuring
It's a cheap job though, about £350 is my guess. Every car is a little different and hence the springs are chosen depending upon the options you have. A sunroof for example adds weight so there will be a slightly firmer spring on that car etc etc. Hopefully they order the correct one
