Xenon Light Stepper Motor
I was told that the only way to aim or fix my headlight so that it will point up and on the road is to replace the entire headlamp assembly at over 1200 plus installation. Has anyone else had this problem that had luck getting BMW to cover when you are out of warranty.

Are you really asking if you can get a part covered under warranty when you have no warranty?
What's wrong with the headlight? Is it pointing to the sky? The steppers motors are not sold separately so unless you can source them from a used headlight, yes you need a new headlight. |

What I am asking BMW for was a simple discount on the part or full coverage, the car is just out of warranty and now this really expensive light just happens to break. I also understand that many of them have broken, so there might be a possible class action lawsuit. If BMW does not come to help me, I will be starting a call to see how many others really had this problem and possibly be talking with legal consul, It if was 500 total out of pocket and It was fixed, then I would not say a word, but 1230.00 for the light assembly and then another 4-500 to install.
I was even willing to give them the old light for a core credit on the light, so they can send to germany and have someone figure out why these are breaking |
