Hi mate,

What year of car did you have this fit in? Mine is a 2009 with CIC HDD based Nav and I am definitely keen - ie first dibs please.

I just don't want to have to code it, but I understand from around this time, coding is neccesary. Any ideas?

Thanks
Matt

Matt, not sure of your cars details, but you can check the compatability on http://realoem.com/bmw/

With regards to coding, there are two types of kits available, this one specifically states in the fitting instructions that ‘No coding is required’ whether this kit is suitable for your car I don’t know, hence I recommend you check Realoem

A 1 series coupe, don't see that being an issues as the the same kit & part numbers for the e92 coupe, the amp kit will fit other E9x series but not the tweeter housing

Op, I don't think I can take the risk on these. Evidence suggests its my car, not te kit, that needs coding - ie the later cars.

Can't confirm but as you've other options, I will back out so Nigelo can benefit.

Fair enough Matt, without looking into it, you're possibly right
yours being a later car wil need the other kit.

Nigelo,

Offers open to you.
