2006 330d - Lack of Boost - Part 2

I took the car to an BMW indy who came highly recommended. They read the fault codes and there aren't any logged.

After reading another post on here I'm starting to think the problem may be down to DPF regens.

Dr Dave kindly informed me that the item in the square box below is the DPF Sensor.

I don't know if you can see clearly but its not attached!!



Could it be that as its moving around (possibly hitting things) in the engine bay it may be affecting the signal and starting DPF regens to often?

Does anyone know how to re-attach it? It looks like its a slide fit type.
