Headlight Cleaning Solution?

So over time my headlights are getting blurry, it looks like dust or something thats built up and i cant seem to clean them off with soap or towels and it disappears but when it is dry it comes back again. Is there any product that i can use to get rid of this? or do i have to polish it out

Wetsand them. Basically you start with a medium-grit wetsand with some soapy water and work to finer and finer grit. Then polish after you're sanding at the finest grit.

cheapest and easiest way is WD-40.. just spray some on a paper towel and wipe em down.. i know is sounds strange but trust me it works great. all those headlight restore products are are basically a silicone lubricant which fills in all the micro-abrasions that are making the lens look fogging, in turn making it look clear again. which the wd-40 does basically the same thing.. i just used in on my dads bmw's headlights and as soon as i finished in was like 'shit i should have taken some before and after pics'. but anyways try it out, you'll be very surprised

These are good products to use on your paint too.
Why are you using affiliate links? I see you have been doing this in other treads as well and is against the rules on this forum!

this isnt a permanent fix, it will just fill in! as soon as it rains the product will just run off and youll be back to hazy headlights. the only permanent solution is to wetsand and polish (hopefully with a machine)

Before going through a lot of work like wetsanding, give klasse all in one a shot, or any other cleaner/sealant product. It may be all you need. If it doesn't give you the results you're wanting, you can always wetsand.
