A few things learned

Going through the process of ordering a 335i I've learned 2 things:

1. You have to get the black gloss trim with red trim finishers if you get the leatherette - the system will not let you order the Aluminum trim and black trim finishers with the leatherette. I'm not sure if in order to get the alum/black trim you have to get the premium package or just get the leather. I ended up getting the premium package.

2. The instrument cluster with extended contents comes standard on the 335i! Who knew? You have to get the tech package to get it on the 328i.

Here's my specs per my Vehicle Inquiry Report:

Very interesting... 6WA is not listed in 335i standard equipment.

There seems to be a bunch of ordering anomalies. The truth is only spoken when the official system accepts your order.

Is there anyone else with a 335i without Nav on order that can confirm 6WA is standard on 335i?

It is a black panel display under the gauges. Please refer to the owner's manual...there are pictures illustrating it.

I don't own an F30 so I don't have an owner's manual. I just wanted an answer, not a smart ass comment.

I've seen non nav f30's with the extended cluster. From what I'm reading it's only available with the tech package which would include the navigation...any input?

Garage List
On another thread I saw a US 328i non Nav that has the extended cluster... Still can't seem to figure out what the deal is since have seen both interment clusters on various pics of US cars (that do not appear to have tech package)... Hopefully my car should be delivered in a week or so (non nav), so I'll definitely post pics..

I think I've figured out why some non NAV american 328i's have the extended cluster. All the one's I've seen have lane departure. I want to go out on a limb and say that the extended display is also included with these systems, but I'm not 100%.

Can confirm option 6WA

I can confirm option 6WA on my 335i Sport Line build. I just looked at the vehicle inquiry and noticed it there. Mind you I do not have navigation or lane departure as part of my build.

Strangely I didn't even notice it was there initially.
