New to Forum - Boulder, CO

Hey all,

I am new to the forum. We have had an '06 325xi for a while and I wanted to get something faster and more fun. So, I picked up a 2007 335xi with Stage 3 Dinan mods and just put some VMR VB3s on it. I hope I get to meet some of you out on the road. The forum was a huge help to me in both buying the car and the wheels.

Hey, I recognize the carwash there on 28th :-). I just picked up my 08 XI a couple of weeks ago at Gebhardt so I'm new to the board, too. My previous car was a modified Mitsubishi that I used to run at Bandimere and Second Creek when it was still open.

Congrats on the new car. I just bought the same color 335xi sedan last week.

Is your car lowered?

It is lowered a bit with stage 1 Dinan system. I put 18s on with Conti DWS just this week. I think it looks way better than the stock 17s that were on there. Overall, this system handles great, and rides nice.

Welcome and nice car(s)! I hope you join BMWCCA and do some HPDEs with them - if so I'll see you at HPR and/or Pueblo, or maybe at a Sonic drive through meet, or bowling!? (Craig, when are we bowling next?). Anyways, I live in Louisville but work in Boulder (55th & Arapahoe area).

P.S. The guys at Discount Tire just up the road from that carwash know me by name.

Welcome!

There are some great drives around Boulder once the snow is gone and the sand is no longer there. I have gone on a few with the people on here. Speaking of which, a group of us are going to Mfest in April which is a blast. I have gone the past 3 years. Check out the threads on here about it soon as registration is opened already and fills up fast.

Is this the Sonic on Federal (around 92nd) where the muscle cars always hung out a few years ago or somewhere else?

No, the RMCBMWCCA club meet at various Sonic's around the area starting late spring. I will post up the dates/times/locations when I get word.

Alex, not surprising that Discount Tire knows you by name, you probably single handedly keep them in business, lol.

Bowling sounds fun again, haven't done that in a while. Or maybe go-karting, have been wanting to go to the place by me with the electric karts.

I definitely plan to do some RMCBMWCCA events this summer. I can't wait for the roads to clear up, gravel to go away and do some of the canyon driving. I ride my bike (bicycle) up and down them all the time and am psyched to do it in a car.

Please post up if there is ever a gathering in the Boulder/Denver area. I would be in for some Karting, I hear they are super fun.

I like the guys at Discount Tire. While I didn't buy these wheels there, that si where we get all our other tires/wheels and they have been good to us in the 15 years we have been using them.

Looking forward to meeting some of you.
