New HP fuel pump supplier

Siemens just got punted, I know lots of people are PO'd but it appears the fuel pump issue was really one of a supplier just not being able to get it right. Now aren't you glad you waited for a 2008 like I'm doing.

Does the 2008 get the LED brake lights? Having been rear-ended by slow reacting drivers, I could really use that extra 0.7 seconds.

Do we have concrete detail of this confirmation or is this just another "My SA told me" type deal?

If this is true, I wonder if the fact that Bosch is located in the U.S. will help increase the rate of replenishing here in the states.

Not to bad mouth Bosch... 90% of the things that failed on my old Mercedes were Bosch parts... So dont expect any better quality..

New supplier does not necessarily imply a better supplier. I bet those of us that bought the '07s are enjoying driving them more than the '08 customers are having "thinking" about them.

0.7 seconds? Really? Amazing how LEDs can come on almost 3/4 of a full second faster than the current brake lights...

The current 335 Coupes have LED's. I keep reading about people wanting LED's they are on already, the light bars are illuminated via LED's.

Oh and I am not glad I waited for 2008, I am still one of only 4 335 Coupes I have seen on the road since I got my car.
