thinking about drilling a vent hole in my fog light - lets talk about it
i got a brand new e92 m-front from tischer (bought the kit) and my driver side fog light gets condensation when it rains and ive had the fog lights on. passenger side doesnt do this. im thinking about drilling a small vent hole in the foglight but im not sure if it has to be in a certain spot or angle.
can anyone help me? or, better yet, does anyone have a better solution? im running HID bulbs and i think the hassle of bringing my car to the dealer for warranty (removing traces of HID, dropping car off, losing it for a week, etc) makes for my own DIY a better fit for me. thats assuming they'll even warranty it. i dont think its the seal at the bulb because my passenger side doesnt condensate. what do i dooooo |

Don't drill holes!!! I was in the same boat as you! The condensation will go away over time. I put my Msport front bumper on , drove to the power wash bay and noticed condensation on both of my fog lights immediately after washing! The condensation would go away over time but would come back whenever it rains or I washed my car. This lasted for about 1 month. For some reason or another the condensation did not return and I still use the power wash bay frequently. Weird???Yes, but no more condensation.

were you happening to be using HID H11 bulbs or regular halogen/oem H11 bulbs? |

maybe its just water from rain, not condensation, in which case seals are bad. |
