Got quoted $3100 to extend my warranty today

Had the car in for service at Rallye today and they told me it would would be a little over 3k to extend the warranty for 3 more years. This seemed kind of high to me so I wanted to get the community's opinion.

What do you guys think? Keep in mind this is for the Gold plan.

Depends on the car... but if you have a 335i/xi these cars go to complete crap after 50k miles. It may be worth it, god forbid your tranny takes a crap on you.

These cars go to complete crap after 50k miles if you drive them like a teenage or a mommy's boy not when you pay for it , they are great , good luck.

Lol I'm right around 86k with no problems that aren't covered under recalls.

When I was considering keep my 08 335xi I was quoted $900 under MSRP for the Platinum 7/100k warranty. Pm me and I can give you the contact.
