Jealousy with new car coming??

After a wait of 203 days my E92 is finally ready for pick up (N54, SG, Blk ltr, Blk wood trim, Step) in about 12 hours. Needless to say, I have been really looking forward to the moment.

Yet, my current "fun" car might have sensed that its position is about to be taken and threw a fit hours ago. The AC stopped working this afternoon, and when I moved it tonight, it barely started and ran rough for 30 seconds after which black smoke came pouring out of the engine bay. This car had been perfect for the past 4 years up to tonight.

Is this bad carma?

bad carma....nice play of the word.

I dunno, cars have a knack of doing this, happened to my old beater in college, car never gave me a problem throughout but the night before I was to take it to a lot to sell it, the car broke a water pump and overheated

I totally had this happen to me.

I only have a 1 car garage and thats where I keep my M3. Well, I brought a bike home and so I had to slide the car over in the garage a bit to make room for the bike. I guess they must have argued when I wasnt there because about a week later, right after I parked the bike, it fell into the M3. Handle bar ends made 2 little indents on the fender. I wasnt pissed because I knew it was inevitably going to happen. Regardless, the bike(a Monster) showed the M3 apparently who was boss of the garage.

They have been friends since.

Good point. That goes for ALL vehicles, including bicycles, though.

Hi, I am from HK also. So bad that if 203 days is normal waiting time in HK as it's only the 3rd day after my e93 335i order. Have to wait for another 200 days.

But even we can't have chance for up to 2nd gear, I am sure that I will be very excited after 200 days later.

I have seen about 4 e92s and 2 e93s. Still relatively rare but sure that will change.

Congrats! Great choice! Wait time sucks - but as you said, it will be worth it.

My current car's also been a bit jealous...like you said, carma.

In Singapore the allocation was cut, so the wait is very long. I ordered April and hope to get the car in December.
