Lug Nut Cavity Cleaning Tool

Here is a minor (but effective & affordable) contribution to consider when looking for a tool that will clean dirt/brake dust from around the lug nut cavities on your wheels. You can spend $ 13 +(not including shipping) for some specialized brushes offered by various car detailing web sites or you can get these 1 inch foam brushes from most arts & crafts stores. Big Box DIY stores also carry these in their painting section but are slightly more expensive. I got a box of 20 for $ 5. That quantity should last me at least a year or more. I use these brushes when washing the wheels. Hope this of interest.

I can tell you I hated with a passion cleaning the F10 550i (non msport) rims.

The Msport ones are not bad at all, especially with a good rim wax. I have Swissvax install theirs and the brake dust wipes off with a damp rag.
