Jet Black+zero polishing experience= help needed!
Alright, heres the deal. I'm a motivated diy kind of dude that wants to do my own detail work on my jet black 335. Never used a buffer before but I'm a fast learner. Considering the 7424xp cause it seems to be the most forgiving and need to know what supplies I should buy. Moderate to minor surface scratches that I want to correct and I'm very concerned about the hazing you get with dark cars in certain light with a bad buff job. Experts please help a brother out

If I were to go this same route, are there certain techniques to prevent swirl marks and get rid of them? I would love to learn to detail my cars the correct way.

you are not going to get buffer trails or "swirls" with a DA polisher. If you do, you need to put it down and let someone else take care of the car because you are doing something very wrong.

The new Meguires microfiber pads and polish are a very good start. It's a quality product, especially for the amateur
