Thumbs up Bmw X1 Coupe... What's Next?

Cute little car, but I personally think BMW are introducing too may cars in their range... Cute little car though, but Im not a huge fan of the big headlights.... to each their own.

Sorry .... I'm convinced the brand image is now way too diluted. Sure they are good cars but there is nothing exclusive about it any more. Mark my words ...... BMW reasale will be no better than a commodore or falcon if they continue to add so many models.

yeah, i agree.... there seems to be a model of BMW in every size! Just loses it's exclusivity (is that a word??) and it doesnt make it an elite car anymore... so sad... BMW are trying to make smaller cars now so every man and his dog can own one or two or three!

True ... I have 2 parked at home and a project car that started with good intentions currently in storage (1986 model 635CSI) Actually ..... I might plan to take that out next weekend. Got to borrow a trade plate from my cousin. Thanks Lea .... The only negative side to this is my wife is sure to have another dummy spit when she she it again as it will remind her to keep nagging me to sell it.

What it would mean, in next generation or earlier, BMW will up-class it's E92 and E93 Coupe to the same luxury and features of the CLK-Class. Thus, it needs a replacement of a entry E90-coupe (F3?) to beat MB's C-class Coupe. I presume 316i has gone forever? BMW also needs a A/B-Class and R-Class equivalences. On MB side, they are also creating the MLK to beat BMW's X3. MB's direction of a performance hatch like the 1-Series is still not clear.

I think it comes down to market share. Unfortunately, it comes as the expense of the those who own higher end BMWs.

Cheers.

I'm sorry but those are not X1 spy pics, but are actually of the 1 series coupe, which is supposedly coming out in rag-top cabriolet form too. Quite frankly the 1er never really did much for me, but if they do bring in the carbio for somewhere around 45-60k, they could take a hell of a lot of sales out of mazda, nissan and alike!

............ugly MB !

Well well.. marketing means bringing the company more revenue and profit, also mean bringing customer satisfaction. Like it or not..... it is just a fair world if someone wants a SUV and doesn't want to be seen driving a Toyota. He now can choose one from his favorite (German) brands, a R-Class or a BMW-SUV in future. And, why the fact that there are 'many Benz' would ever bother MB haters or a Fanatic of BMW for life? I would never buy a SUV, really don't care who make them...

inevitable i am sure, but a little sad to have to compare a higher end brand to a lower end one such as nissan
