2013 BMW M3 F80 Questions

Hello all

I've been driving subarus for the longest time and now I am looking to get an upgrade. I've been eyeing the M3 for about a year now and i'm very interested in the 2013 model. I know it's a bit early but when will the car be released for sale?

What's the difference between the M3 and the M4? Are there pictures available?

Should I get the 2012 model instead? I believe the new styles are coming out in 2013?

Thanks for your help!

Depends on whether you want 2 or 4 door.

E90 (sedan) M3 ended production in 2011
E92 (coupe) M3 will continue for a while. Will old M3 coupe disappear once new M3 sedan is available?

Based on previous posted information:
F80 (sedan) M3 is scheduled to be revealed in June 2013, probably start production as 2014 model late in 2013
F32 (coupe) non-M internet reveal in July 2013
F82 (coupe) M3 or M4 should come out a year after that

You would think that BMW wouldn't want to waste any time and reveal the F80 in 2012 if they ended E90 production in 2011...

My assumption is that BMW doesn't want to lose E92/93 sales by revealing the F80 too early (even though the former aren't sedans)

Right. That's why in our interview with BMWNA, it was said that there won't be a next generation M3 (sedan or coupe) introduced before the current M3 coupe and convertible end of production.
