Question Code "2FBC"...?

Hello,

Well my car feels like i'm deff. having misfires and in the morning during cold start ups, has been acting really weird...rpm's jerking around and also car would hesitate when i start driving and give it a bit gas. I'm out of warranty and wanted to take my car somewhere tommorrow cuase it has been leaking a bit oil from the cap, so i thought let me open up my BT Cable and check for any codes, and this is the only code that came up..

BTW. I havnt had any limp modes or SES light come on or anything..So i was suprised because i even had a tech at a local bmw/benz shop say that the car is deff misfiring, but like i said no ses or limp modes...Any opionions/clues much appriciated..

2FBC:
2FBC Fuel pressure control valve, signal
Error will cause a warning light
Error is not currently present
Test conditions have been completed

Freeze Frame Information
Event 1Odometer 61840kms 38425miles
PWM-Signal of mass control valve 8.59 %
rail pressure 8,151.11 hPa
operation mode actual value 2.00 0-n
status motor control 0.00 0-n

I know i have all those mods listed, but been running without any mods for the past 6+ months.

Thank's.

My thought is HPFP control is going bad. The fuel pump puts out more or less pressure/volume to the rail based on demand. The Fuel Volume Control Valve is located on the HPFP and cannot be replaced separately. Either you have a bad connection at the HPFP or the control valve on the HPFP is bad.
