Different keys, different...

radio settings and mirror settings.

Today, I got in my car with my wife's key and the radio turns to a radio station, and the mirrors both point low to the ground. I turned the car off, switched the key, restarted the car, and the radio turned to aux (which is what I usually have it set to because of my MP3 player) and the mirrors go back to the spot that I keep them.

My car has the cold weather package, the premium package, sport package, and USB/Ipod connector. I don't believe I have the comfort access package. Thoughts? What's the deal?

That's exactly what it is supposed to do - a bunch of other stuff is stored in the keys individually too. All this is explained in the owner's manual, oddly enough.

I have looked in my owners manual and found nothing of the sort - I read it over looking for info on how to get the windows to roll up when holding the LOCK button. I had to come here to figure out why they wouldn't. I will go back to the manual...

Pg. 18, "Personal Profile", in the manual for my non-iDrive 2011.

Assume you figured out that you can't roll the windows up on a US-spec car from the fob without coding? They are afraid we will lop babies heads off or something.
