Keyhole covers?

I've seen them for several different cars....
Mainly for the drivers door.

Has anyone seen anything for the roady trunk lock?
I'd love to cover that thing.

It's really too bad we didn't get the hidden lock behind the Roundel like the coupes

Wish there was a way to retrofit your coupe Roundel lock.

I supose painting is one way to do it.
I was thinking more of a cap with a bayonet on the back that inserted into the keyhole.

Nope, trimmed the part that acts like a key first (it will hold the cover). Once I got what would hold in the slot I painted and then clearcoated.

You can also use Body-Tite Panel/Trim Retainers Part No. 45462. Just cut & trim the rectangular stem to fit the key hole. They are available at Pep Boys (3 for $2.00).

It looks like they're designed specifically for the Porker handel

I notice that they are available in BMW colours
I just may order one to see.

Yep, I saved the link in my bookmarks because they have BMW colors AND because they have the bumper plugs (never know when you need these things!)

If you order one let us know, and yes, it does seem to be a site that caters to the Porker.

Did you ever get yours? How did they fit? I think i'm going to order mine today. I think I might have pissed the guy off the other day when I was asking him about the cf kidney grille.

ps I have moved over here now. My 3rd homepage change since I got the car. LOL

I just ordered a couple of these. When they come I will post pics and give an update. Sorry, no DIY needed on this one. I think you just shove it in the hole.
