straight pipes, or no?

Hello,
I need your guys opinions with straight pipes. I have a milltek exhaust on my e92, its nice sounding but not loud at all. I want something louder, since I do not have any cats (all removed with this exhaust and downpipes), will removing the muffler make it too loud, that its annoying? Also, will it be loud to the limit that cops pull me over?

please any input will be appreciated.

EDIT* since the exhaust comes in a few pieces, if i were to take the muffler out, This is how the car would sound when the pipes are done, correct? So i can see how loud it is, before i decided to go mufflerless?

It will be loud as fuck. Take off the mufflers and try
it, if you don't like it just throw some louder mufflers on like eisenmann race

If you want something louder, I would go with a straight through muffler. Personally I would highly recommend the Vibrant mufflers. They sound awesome on BMW's, are cheap, and muffle it a decent bit but believe me, my race car is still really loud even with a turbo, and a vibrant muffler.

I really wouldn't do it..you drive a $50K car and resort to muffler delete...and it sounds like ass. NYers are already pissed off as it is.
