2 Part Question Re: Catless DP's and CEL

1. Is there any solution available without installing a tune that will turn off the CEL when running catless DP's?

2. When a CEL is activated due to catless DP's what technically is happening (other than lighting up the dashboard)? Will the car go into "limp" mode? Will the DME attempt to alter the a/f ratio? Will there be performance degradation?

I don't yet have DP's installed but just doing some homework

1. You would have to run the BMS V3 O2 Sim

2. With the CEL light turned on, you won't lose performance. You will just have an annoying orange light on your dash.

Thanks robertm - but - I thought I read that this was not compatable with the 1M N54? Are you running it or know anyone who is running this on a 1M?

Compatible with all N54 twin turbo motors. Not compatible with 2011+ N55 twin power turbo motor.


There are hundreds of people using it on our motors.
