2007 328i fuel sender--gas tank replace??
I'm a ase cert mechanic.I know very little about bmw's.The wife's car cutoff the other day.Fuel gauge read 1/4 tank.Towed to shop.Was no gas in tank....ok bad fuel sending unit.Guy at shop says have to replace whole fuel tank???Never heard of this before...any truth to this.My service info doesn't say that.Am I missing something?Please help!
