E92 RFT Tires on aftermarket Rims?

Is it possible to put the original RFT tires on another set of rims that match the size of the original rim? I am thinking about switching rims and my tires are pretty much new. I would like to just switch them over if possible

Thanks

You could do that. But not many shop knows how to deal with RFT, so you have to ask around. Also, you will need to use your TPMS on the new set of wheels too.

Two issues:
1) Mounting rfts is really hard on them.
2) If you are going to the trouble of getting (presumably lighter) new rims, why not get good tires (i.e., non-rft extreme performance)?

My advice: sell your OEM rims w/ tires on them

Thanks for the advice

My only concern is not having the sensor in the rim and having the computer tell me im a moron...

I assume ride quality for the same rim/tire size would be comparable?

They will only work if the new rims have the EH2 hump ( many rims do )

Without it the sidewalls wont do their runflat job properly if you have a flat

Have the BMW sensors fitted to the new rims
