While you're at it, why not just run Stage 2+ and just go for it?

There's a reason Cobb says that DP's are required for Stage 2. It's not just a friendly suggestion.

Its unhealthy for your engine. Excessive exhgaust gas temperatures, combined with excessive intake air temps, makes for elevated duty cycles, increased knock and likely less power.

Don't go Dinan for the tune. There are quite a few people who jumped ship from Dinan to Cobb but none have gone from Cobb to Dinan.

Dinan is pretty expensive and costs extra to go up to another stage.
Cobb, buy once and each stage is free

No reason to buy Dinan when Cobb has more power on tap at a lesser cost. Follow the calibrations recommendations for octane and mods.

"stages" don't mean shit when comparing different tunes. for example, dinan stage III probably gets owned by cobb stage I aggressive 93 octane. dinan stage I is shit compared to procede aggressive stage I. etc etc etc

How do you know stage 1 is weak without owning it? Besides, if you want serious power your going to need supporting mods anyway.

Cobb and Vishnu PROcede are the most aggressive tunes today. You've been misled somewhere if you think Dinan or Jb4 is faster. Jb4 can likely be just as fast with a custom map. I am not trying to start a tuner war.... really, i'm not.
