Any advice for SoCal audio installers?

I tried searching, and didn't come up with much, and the shop sticky doesn't seem to have much for audio. I'm looking for someone I can bring components to for an install on a 335 coupe, don't have a lot of comfort level with removing door panels and seats etc myself without jacking something up.

I'm in Torrance, so anything in LA or Orange counties would probably work. Just don't want to drive all the way up to Portland to see Musicar NW.

Thanks.

I have someone that is well known in the industry, does great work and is reasonable in price. Let me know. HE works out of Huntington Beach. You are local, you can hear my system, although my system is on the extream side. PM me for his info.

could he take off the radio limiter? whenever i turn my subs up to +5 or up (car set at 0) it seems to let the bass take over the music and it sounds rediculous.
my set up is (bass=0,treb=+6,bal=0,fade=+1rear) and does your bass sound different being as you have folding rear seats?

It really is. You can read up all you want about how to please a woman, you can look at all the diagrams in the world, but just like the clitoris, you won't know what the hell an apex is before you actually find it.

I drove to Irvine to pick up the car in the first place, don't see why I couldn't drive a bit for an install. I have no idea how long it will take though, I'm a car audio newb.

I don't have the parts yet, probably won't find time for it until next year, just planning out wtf to do with everything once I order it.

hey who are you recommending in this area? I'm also looking for an alarm install and maybe audio. I'm in the SGV area. It's for an e36.

I frequently pass by that location and see an e46 parked there. Is that his (Jay) car?

Do you ever seem to run to the problem of volume cut? I know some aftermarket radios remove/extend the cut off, and I know the stock headunit (well at least the not navi one) has a volume cut as well. And the subs overpower the radio when I turn it loud

is this because you have an aftermarket amp for the highs, mids and lows?
