Car Broke Down - Questions
Guys,
I was doing normal errands, and car started performing poorly...seemed likecylinder vibration. Got a check engine light. Busted out the BT Tool, here is what it said: 1) 29DC: Cylinder Injection Switch Off 2) 2FBF: Fuel Pressure at injection release 3) 29F2: Fuel high pressure system, fuel pressure ** This leads me to believe my fuel pump is toast...I BARELY made it home..as I was close...sort of makes sense based on codes. I know this is a common problem with our cars. My car has 64K miles, and was purchase certified pre-owned, so I have the 100K mile warranty. Questions: - Is this a correct assessment of my engine issue? - I assumed I'll have no problems with coverage, but just checking? - I doubt my car will make it to a BMW place. So I'll have to tow it. Do they cover towing is this covered under warranty? Thanx, -Peter |
