11-25 v5 Aggressive (USER TUNING) BETA maps with 110 Firmware

Hi guys, due to the success of the 11-01 Aggressive maps, we have officially made them non-beta. And now we have some new 11-25 Beta maps available. Very minor mapping changes. More useful is a special version of the firmware which enables the dedicated PWM Meth I/O channels so that Rev3 users no longer have to give up their speed delimiter feature. Details on the new 11-25 Beta maps below:

Mapping/Firmware changes:

Added 11-25:
1) A Stage 0 map has been included. This is a more conservative version of the Stage 1 map. It has lower boost targets and more top end boost taper. It is intended for those who live in extremely harsh conditions (high altitude & poor fuel quality & high temp) and find the Stage 1 map to still be too aggressive.

2) Enabled Hard Rev Limit feature (Digital Outputs -> Hard Rev Limit). For use in 6MT applications.

3) Revised ignition advance mapping for Stg1 maps. Slightly more conservative ignition advance targets above 6000rpm.

4) Revised fuel mapping for Stg3 maps. Higher Open Loop fuel values at high engine load above 5000rpm.

5) The option for Rev3 users to use the "Dedicated PWM I/0" firmware version which enables the dedicated PWM input/output channels on the Rev3 circuit board. This allows the Procede to support PWM meth AND the speed delimiter feature. Both of which are mutually exclusive on Rev2/Rev2.5 platforms. Rev3 users who are currently running PWM meth will have to revise the wiring on their harness if they want to take advantage of this special firmware version. If they do not wish to do so (and don't want to re-enable the speed delimiter feature) they can simply run the standard version of the firmware not not make any wiring changes. But for those who want to make this change and restore their speed delimiter feature, please read the "How To Enable the Rev3's Dedicated PWM I/0" guide also included in the map folder.

To download the new 11-25 maps/firmware, click HERE

As always, please carefully read the Read Me First file before updating to the new maps/firmware. There is new information there that will likely answer whatever question you have

Cheers.

Can you further explain avoiding Map 2 and running meth on these maps? Sorry, I'm a new meth user. (Lord, I hope that never gets taken out of context)

because you run map 4 instead which has the failsafe and transition from map 1 to map 2.

I guess I was confused because I thought map 4 transitions to map 2 if you run out of methanol. Do these maps just transition to map 1 then?

All map 4 have transitioned to map 1 in case of meth failure when using a proper failsafe.

Autotuning is OFF , map 1 and 2 are not the same. map 2 is way more aggressive and for meth/race gas use only. Its all in the read me file.

Shiv,
I have pwm meth kit and rev3.
But previously i have rev2 and I updated it to rev3 (just unit only). It's using rev2's harness. Do I have to change something on its harness for dedicated PWM Meth I/O channels / speed demiliter feature ?

Edit: Yes, I have to (for speed delimiter).
So in the future updates, everytime, there will be 2 firmwares, right ? one for standard, other for who did dedicated pwm channel update ?

I refer to Stage1 and position 2 of map (position 0 valet, position1, position2 and position 3 naturally aspirated)

Position2 is for Meth user ?

my idea is to change position1 in order to lowering the max boost from 18 to 13 (a middle ground between valet and map2)

2) Enabled Hard Rev Limit feature (Digital Outputs -> Hard Rev Limit). For use in 6MT applications.
Shiv,

Does this hard rev limit feature NOT apply to us 6AT guys now? I was really looking forward to not hitting the throttle closure on the 1-2 shift and sometimes the 2-3 --- it seems to happen when running meth, being that the transmission doesn't shift as fast as it needs to.

Does this mean, if I have no PWM, but want the Speed delimiter I don't need to do anything?

^^^ Yes, according to the readme file. If used on a REV 2, you'll get various codes thrown.

^^^This??

Shiv I remember in that teaser post you had you said that new the rev limiter was going to be for MT and AT cars and that it would help the AT cars...
Quote:
NOTE: This feature is also useful for 6AT applications as it prevents the automatic upshift that occurs when you hit the factory rev limiter. This means that you won't accidentally double-shift which is a pretty common problem for high hp applications where 6AT transmissions tend to get a little sloppy and slow to react to user inputted upshift requests.

I'm guessing the 11/1 and these new 11/25 maps are still ONLY for rev 2.5/3 procedes?

So us rev 2 owners are stuck with the 7/... maps?

Cant use aggressive maps unless you have 2.5 or 3.
