Sport Automatic w/ Paddle Shifters?
hi all, configuring my new 2012 335i. One question I have is what is missing w/o the sport auto? I am not too keen on the paddle shifters but w/o this option will I not have a sport mode for the auto tranny? any additional info greatly appreciated. thanks

You will always have a sport mode, as well as steptronic. SPort auto gives you pedals and also gives you faster shift times(more sporty) then what comes on the standard ZF8 speed. I prefer the old paddles right behind the wheel and go both ways.

Heh... I was starting to think I was the only one who preferred the old push to downshift, pull to upshift paddles... it's nice when the wheel is upside down to not have to think about which one is really left and which is right. Besides, it works exactly like the shifter does. Not sure why most people prefer the other way, to be honest.
