Hands too big
Hi,
My hands are too big to swap out my angel eye bulbs ('06 sedan, so access to the bulbs is awful). Does anyone have a recommendation for a shop (preferably on the north Shore) that will do a swap? Thanks in advance.

Gauthier Motorwerkes is in Ipswich along Route 1. Don't know how much they'd charge for it, but they are an indie shop and are usually fair. If you don't mind a cheap amateur job I could do it for you , I did both my bulbs myself a couple months ago.

eastside motoring
i would recommend eastside motoring in Waltham Ma, not sure what they would charge but they did a great job on my front m3 swap a while back. Or louies bmw in peabody mass, they have been around forever (well like 30 years) ansd im sure they would do a great Job.

What do you mean exactly? Are you referring to the little hatch in the wheel wells. If you remove the wheels and black covers in your wheel wells you should be fine to access the angel eyes. There is a DIY on the forum.

I actually had the car into Turner over 6 months ago for a big maintenance visit. I asked at the time to have them swap out the bulbs (Burger LED) but when I returned, they had not done it and they said the tech couldn't do it without a bumper removal and they didn't have time that day. While I've been very pleased with Turner over the past 3 yrs, this is the one time they didn't meet all my expectations.
I did my winter tire swap a month ago and started messing with the wheel well access panels and decided not to go forward as my hands were getting trashed. I decided I am happy to pay someone, thus this post was hatched. Obviously, it's not a high priority item for me but recently a bulb burned out and it's moving up the list. Thanks for the feedback. To the poster who mentioned Louie's (Rt1 south), is that place any good? It seems a bit wacky when I drive by, but I've never heard from someone who's used them. Please fill me in!

Thanks for the tips guys, and thanks for the offer to help (BoStoNe90). I ended up going to Schneller BMW (an indy shop in newbury) for the angel eye bulb, modified CDV install (best mod EVER), and a new shift knob. Good shop and I'm happy with all the mods. Happy New Year to all.
