Does anyone remember the multi-tune box?

What was it called and where can i get one?

I may be moving to Japan in the next year and i have to pass California emissions or better to get my car shipped. With that said, i'd rather pay the money up front to have my car tuned without cats and be able to put in my cats (on flanges) and change the tune when i see fit...

ESS Tuning, EVO Tech both has a box capable of storing multiple tunes.

OE Tuning i guess they gave up the EZ Flash on N52...

What do you mean they gave up the ez flash? Also, can you link the evotech unit?

called OE few weeks ago about the device, but they told they still working on it and have no set date for delivery. Its been a long while since they say they gonna sell the device, so i guess its not gonna happen with them.

Never try evotech before, check out the performance mod sticky for the link.

ESS box I have and im very happy with them.

yes thats it. make sure you tell them you have cat less setup, they have special tune for those. the box allow you to switch between stock and performance setting.

i can't recall the other version i remember seeing a member saying they had, but there was one with 5 modes (not that i need THAT many).

Anyway, i'm doing the 3 Stage Intake Manifold upgrade in February too... so as for tuning, that would make it a 330i, yeah? I'll definitely call before hand either way to make sure i get the best setup.
