Track Wheels/tires
Can anyone suggest a good track wheel/tire combo for the E90 335i? I’d rather not chew through $350 runflats every time out. I’m about to take part in only my 4th HPDE and so am not ready for R compounds. I’ve browsed the Tire Rack website and am considering the O.Z. Ultraleggera wheel (relatively inexpensive and light) with either the Yokohama ES100s or Khumo Ecsta MXs. I don’t want to modify the suspension since this is my 20k mile/yr daily driver but what are your thoughts on 255s or 265s at all four corners to help a bit with understeer? Do any of the track junkies on the board have any other ideas/recommendations?

Thinkin about what sg335 is using...Enkei 18X8.5 wheels..with 245-40-18 R compounds. could use a spacer in rear to make it look better.

If you want something cheap you might look through ebay or for sale section here for people who are selling their rims/tires. That way you have another set and can put different tires on them when those are worn. Just a suggestion.
