WTF i installed my dp's today too 3" not AR but my car did the saaammmeeee shit , i poped it on map 2 from map 5 and all of a sudden same symptoms dnt think i had the same code though just had the o2 codes , i also had auto clear off !

well atleast ur getting the o2 codes, thats cuz u have autoclearing off..i had autoclearing on in the beginning when my car went into limp mode and misfired and all of that..when i turned autoclearing off NO cat codes popped up (29F4 & 29F5) the only code i get is 29F3, Fuel Pump Sensor, Electrical and it doesnt pop up with an engine light i only get the fuel pump sensor code when i check DME codes thru JB4, i dont have the bav technic scanner..like i said i left autoclearing off and couldnt get any check engine light to come on, nothing but ive hardly driven the car maybe an hour or so..im gunna go for a drive a bit later on and see what happens...autoclear is off until i figure it out..i know my cat codes should come on with autoclearing off but i dont see a reason for the misfires and the limp mode..i just hope ill get another code that will provide some info and i hope that with autoclearing off my o2 codes will pop up as they should..as yesterday when i went for a spin with autoclearing off absolutly no codes or lights came up except for the fuel pump one i listed (29F3) and like i said it didnt come on with a engine light so i dont know exactly how long that code has been there, to be honest i didnt check for codes through the Jb4 ever before until this misfire incident occured so im not sure whats really the cause of what happened..also confused as to why no cat codes will pop up with autoclearing off for now.i just want to make sure i dont misfire like that again, someonee pleeeeeeease provide some info!!!!

i was using the incorporated dpfix when the limp mode misfire happened, and it was in map 1..my concern is that i turned of the dpfix (autoclearing)on the jb4 and no codes or engine lights are popping up..the only code i see when i click check dme codes on my jb4 is the fuel pump sensor code which is 29F3...i dont know what caused the misfires...im going to go for another drive in a bit with autoclearing OFF and see if any engine lights or misfires occur and come up...i just dont understand what could have caused my misfire...im pretty sure ive given all the necessary info in the thread already..if anyone could provide some info in detail id greatly appreciate it..

but what would have caused it..i just got back from another drive...left autoclearing OFF and i dont have the dpfix..and no error codes no engine lights nothing...as if nothing ever happened:s but thats strange because even if everything is working correctly, i should still be getting a light for the catless dps (its normal to) thats why we use autoclearing or buy the dpfix but in my case i have autoclearing off and still am not getting any codes..i dont really know what to do next except to keep waiting for a light to come on and try and figure it out..i was told by terry to leave autoclearing off and to ignore the cat codes (29F4 & 29F5) and look out for anything other then that but even those dont pop up:s... i will continue to leave autoclearing OFF for now but really running out of ideas..and still when i click read DME codes through the JB4 the only code im given is 29F3, Fuel Pressure Sensor,Electrical.

and im pretty sure the miss was the limp mode..I wasn't in limp mode or anything but the check engine light came on and the car started to shake and vibrate., but what would have caused that?? and why arent any codes showing even when autoclearing is OFF? not even cat codes?????

Manual..to be honest im not quite sure about the rpm when it hit..i shifted into 4th im guessing i was around 2500 and when i floored it, went WOT the engine light came on and the shaking started...the only update i can provide is that ive been running with AUTOCLEAR off and havent gotten any engine lights or anything..no codes..and when i click read dme on the jb4 the only thing i get is the fuel pump sensor code..29F3..im leaving autoclearing off to see if i get any other codes..im surprised i havent even got the cat codes and like ive repeated like a million times lol autoclearing is turned off so im truly stumped..

well another day with autoclearing turned off fully..and NO codes...not even the CAT codes...soooooooooo confusedd car seems to be running finee but am getting no codes whatsoever even with autoclearing off for the whole dayyy!!...stumpeddddd

Okay..just Happened Again..light Went On Car Started Shakingg Like Crazyy No Power Whatsoever But No Limp Mode Light..i Pulled Over Check For Codes And Got The Same 29f3, Fuel Pressure Sensor, And One New One..29d1, Misfirings In Cylinder 5...the Only Thing I Can Think Of Is To Change My Fuel Pump (low Pressure Fuel Pump) And Hope Th Eproblem Will Go Away...if Not I Really Dont Know What To Look At Or Look For..anyonee???

thats what i thought but i also thought it could be the fuel pump because of that code 29f3, fuel pressure sensor...i messaged terry and he wrote misfires are usually from coilpacks or injectors but i know plugs and fuel pump is also a possibility..i just honestly dont know what to replace or go for first..i neeeeeed this to stoppp

some have said change plugs some have said change coilpacks or injectors..my mechanic who insalled the downpipe is saying its the fuel pump probably...im just confusedd to which i should switch first...suggestionsss?!?!?!?!?

If you are getting a misfire on cylinder 5 an easy way to check your coil packs is to move the coil pack from cylinder 5 to another cylinder. If the misfire code switches cylinder then there is a good chance that you have a coil pack issue. If not, I would start with the plugs.

the O2 sensor with black sleeve goes in front turbo downpipe gray sleeve O2 goes in rear turbo downpipe...
