High start revs/pop

Hi all i was wondering if this is normal i was told they rev high if its trying to warm the engine up?

It didn't happen over summer so I'm thinking maybe climate change?
Also when i park it outside and it does this it makes a popping noise sorta like this
but not as loud is this bad or just because of the cold?

Sounds normal to me, sometimes when i start it and its fairly cold or been sitting awhile i get the high rev at the initial start.

I have had the higher revs to on a cold start. It doesn't sound out of the ordinary to me.

Doesn't sound like anything to worry about to me, just the cold start function of the car.

Were you giving it gas at all???
When it is cold out my car idles at a higher constant speed around 1k rpm, then slowly drops as it warms up. I have never seen it rev up and down like that?

i wish i was giving it gas, now when it does it i just try to keep the rpm by pressing the gas so it doesn't look like I'm trying to show off by revving it

I would show it to a dealer and see what they say. You have any warranty left?
