Just ordered VRSF Downpipes

Hey everybody,

SO after a disappointing Black Friday where I didn't buy anything, I decided to finally pull the trigger on a set of catless downpipes. I couldn't justify to my half Jewish self to pay 800 for AR, but at the same time I read really bad reviews about PLM and Raceland. These look promising though so I'm very excited to get them and install them. Tiago is a great dude to deal with, will post pics as soon as i can.

Side Note: Anybody know a good shop around Brooklyn, NY that can install these for me? Thanks

waiting to hear review, take alot of pictures. and for everyone, go into detail about the fitment!

i think matt@ cambertoe can help you! or motorcepts. vrsf said they install dp too but are in boston.

No problem dude, you can come by anytime you want after I get them put on. I actually live by McDonald Ave and might take it to Major Tire to get put on. My friend is cool with the owners there. If not, then ill just go to Cambertoe, Matt did a good job putting on my LCI tails that I bought off him.

just read someone elses intall and review and it was nothing but good things.....i hope they make some xdrive pipes becuz ill order them in literally seconds....

Iv been to a couple with the g37nyc guys but none for the e90post crew. Its actually pretty funny because I go to the NYSC right by Caesars bay on shore parkway but was always too lazy to have to drive all the way around to get back to the lot lol. I will def try to make it out next time.

Where are these bad Raceland reviews? The only negative comment I've ever seen about RL DPs is that the fitment isn't always 100% and it may take a little more time to fit them on perfectly.

UPDATE:

Got these via FEDEX yesterday, shipping was quick but i guess Mass to NYC isnt that far haha.

I opened the box to check them out, and they look amazing. The welds look legit, they have not been sanded down or smoothed out in any way, which is the way a quality DP is made. Even the gaskets look pretty good, similar to a certain other companies.

Item was packaged properly, huge layer of styrofoam. I will post pictures of the actual pipes and the packaging tonight after work, my car is currently in the shop for a very special project (Cluster LED swap with Authentic Alpina B3 needles).

Pics of all stuff coming soon..............

you have pics of the inside of these pipes? Can you take a closer pic of the exhaust flange area. The taper looks weird from the pic above.
