A good BMW Mini forum?

Hi guys, thinking of buying a used mini for my wife, any good forums for mini users that I can search for buying tips on cooper or cooper s (she drives manual, so might as well make car fun). ON google nothing pops up which has a decent amount of posts like this site on BMWs..

Seconded! I was on MINI2 religiously back when I had a Cooper in 2002. Lots of active folk on there.

Yeah I'm considering to buy one, but I don't want to spend a ton on it, it's a city car and not track toy. Having said that, I prefer it to be cooper S as if I drive it, i want it to actually MOVE. If you have tips for me what to look for in a used one and more importantly, which years to avoid, I'd gladly welcome this advice.

+1 for mini2 - though its a painfully slow to load forum.

Really enjoying the mk1 cooper s cabrio we bought the other day. Had it at le mans yesterday....
