If I were to buy a 2008 BMW 335i that will be out of the original 4 year/50k mile BMW warranty would the hpfp still be under warranty if it goes bad. I read that the hpfp was under warranty for 120k miles. And how much does BMW charge for an extended warranty. The only reason the car I'm looking at will be out of warranty is because it would be 4 years for the car, the car has very low miles (23,000).

yes HPFP is cover 10 yrs/120k

Extended warranty has a bunch of different levels, but I was quoted with a discount, cheapest ran about 2500, up to about 3700 to add 3 years and 60k miles, but they have different number of years and mileage options, none below 2 grand though (and it has to be still under warranty to add the bmw extended, if it is already off the factory warranty you can't add the BMW one)
