Said goodbye to the e90 last week
After 5 years and 4 months, 113k miles I said goodbye to the E90. Most reliable car I ever owned- never even changed a light bulb. One warranty issue- leaking transmission connector fixed under warranty. Everything else scheduled maintenance.
Replaced with '08 CPO E60 535xi. See you on the E60 board!!! |

Interesting you would give up a car you know was 99.9% reliable for another used car. I bet the new 535xi is a hell of a ride though!

OP, congratulations on the E60. Post some pictures when you get a chance. I have always loved the 5 series, looking forward to getting one in the future once family comes into the picture and if the finances seem right.

To the OP. Congrats. I myself was considering an e60 but opted out for the smaller e90 as I'm partial to smaller cars and especially hatchbacks (wish we had a 3/5 door 1-series in NA).

Good luck with the e60!
Was close to buying one, but still wanted something closer in agility to my e46m. As the e90 gets older, I'll probably look at the new 5 in 4 years |
