LMK how it is. If you don't need a wheelie bar after the install I may purchase one IF I can find some slicks to keep traction on my 325 after install!

you shouldn't need full slicks, some drag radials should be fine

Sadly they do, look at how many eBay turbo kits are sold for various applications out there. If there was no one buying these things there would be no one trying to make them. If I was President of the United States I would allocate the money for Food Stamps to a task force designed to take back BMWs from those who obviously are too dumb to own them.

well, honda stuff is a bit different. A lot of eBay stuff for hondas is actually decent. I wouldn't get a turbo kit on ebay for any car, but something like a simple intake pipe is fine. A lot of the eBay honda headers are actually quite good as well. Sure a $800 header may make 3-4 more hp, but when you can get nearly the same performance for $150....

If a shop was to offer me a free dyno day after i bought an electric supercharger (the one listed by OP) i'd try it... screw it... they claim UP TO 30hp, maybe it does add something, but i wouldn't pay for it AND have to pay for the Dyno just for everyone else's free expense... it's $300 already, about as much as some CAIs that boast maybe 1whp (if that)...

On a serious note: it says it starts working at WOT... so... i have to floor it for it to work? O_o

(i'm still snickering over the fact it has sheet metal fan blades hehehehe)

just to tack onto this thread... take this as another gimmick or serious, whatever:

These guys say they gain 9.2hp on a 2.5L 325i... even more with other bolt-on mods like headers, free flow exhaust/muffler, ecu upgrade, etc. (14.72hp in my case - but i drive a 3.0L). These guys also say they GUARANTEE their results or your money back.... so...

"After purchasing and (properly) installing the e-RAM on your engine, you do not feel that the performance increase is what we have claimed (4%-6% HP increase), you just need to do the following within 30 days of receiving your e-RAM to get a full refund*.. Take your car to a dyno test in your area. Make dyno runs with and without the e-RAM activated, and take a picture of how it was installed. Mail the e-RAM back to us with the picture, a copy of your receipt, and a clear copy of your dyno comparison results (signed as witnessed by the technician running the dyno). If the dyno shows the e-RAM does not increase horsepower in your engine by an average of at least 4% of its previous horsepower throughout the 3000 to 6000 rpm range, and we conclude from the picture that you have installed the unit correctly, we will give you a full refund* and even pay for 1/2 your dyno fee! (up to a maximum of $50 reimbursement) *Full refund does not include shipping charges *Please see "compatibility information" section below We challenge any other manufacturer of aftermarket bolt-on horsepower devices to make the same commitment! We know it works!
(10/04) We now accept G-Tech performance meter tests for validation of performance gains."

Call your tuner. Tell them to hold the fuck on because you need to ram some air! If you show a tuning shop they may honestly dyno your car with and without it just for laughs. Imagine if it worked lol. Add a tune and ram that shit.
