I've seen N54's trap 114 get into the 11's. It's all about how fast you can get off the line.
edit- you have an Xi. You may be able to trap 114 or even lower to get into the 11s

ok another question, what do you guys think I can trap? FBO+93 octane only, full weight (~3900lbs with me in the car)... and I'm talking on the street (in mexico), not a prepped track.

I have no idea what kind of power you're putting down, but you do have upgraded turbos. I say 11.8@115 without meth with a high 1 second 60'. I recall a FBO 93 pump JB4 xi with 6AT run 12.2@112 local around here. so I'm overestimating.

I haven't seen too many xi's run, does anyone know the XI n54 record? 3900 lbs is a heavy car though but given your mods I would say in that 114-115 or so range especially with no meth.

If you want the best, HFS-3 by Aquamist. But in my testing along with another who run basically the same meth kit, the basic kit works just fine for all intents and purposes.

If you're ever down in the NYC area, let me know. I'll tell you about a great stretch of road for both 60-130 and quarter mile. The 60-130 road is a 2.x% slope so it'll give you an advantage AND below the 3% "verification" limit. You could run there all day without any problems

Launch with good wheels and tires are key. Aim for 1.7 - 1.9 sec 60' times, with your mods 11's are easily acheivable. I've had bad launches, 2.2 sec, and had traps at 120 that still didn't break into the 11's (that thats with my street trim 19" wheels + street tires).

And their rear tires are Hoosier balloons compared to our tiny 275's.

The question was what trap was needed to run 11's. He never said what car or what driver or what power or if it had a solid rear axle, skinnies, a parachute and slicks
But there are trap speed calculators on google. That is what I used. Either way JP should have no problem hitting 11's with a nice launch. |

I have a 2008 335xi coupe automatic and with 93 octane and cobb stage 2+beta, helix fmic, ar catless dp's, and Injen intake. Here is my slip. I expected better numbers considering I ran a 12.6 with just cobb stage 1 and no ther mods.

With that trap speed you should be able to crack into the high 11's. Keep practicing!
