Alternatives to 270M

I figured that 270M wheels 8x18" 20ET with 235/40/18 95V tires is the official BMW Winter wheels/tires package for the 1M. They are going for 3k~ from a dealer however.

I want to run a aftermarket(less $$) square setup that is exactly the same as the official package in dimensions. Can anyone tell me that if *ANY* 8x18" 20ET wheels with 235/40/18 tires will fit on 1M with no problems. Anyone has got problems fitting 8x18" 20ET wheels with 235/40/18 95V tires?

I'd be interested to know if anyone has got wheel recommendations for this exact dimension as well.

Just spoke to a tirerack sales rep. He said that basically only the A7 sport edition and Lorenzo 18x8 20ET wheels will fit. Anything else in that dimension might not. Anyone has got a second opinion?

Didn't find 18 inch wheel alternatives to my liking. I ended up going with 19x8.5 wheels with 235/35/19 tires, for which there were a lot more wheel options. Alufelgen has an ET15 offset which gets you pretty close to factory at the outside edge for the 1M (check out **********s.com).

Good luck.

Thanks for the tips. I didn't find the ones I like after all and gave in to a set of 4 brand new 270M. Got them for $2780! Can't wait to hit the ski slopes!
