Whats the best MPG you ever got in your BMW?
Just changed over to wintertires..
Last two tanks have runt out at 4.786L/100km by computation (litres filled divded by km driven) US: 49.1 MPG Imp: 59 MPG KM/Liter: 20 No too bad.. Tha cars computers says 4,56L/100km, so its actually pretty good calibrated on my car, since the speedometer is off by 5% aswell. Good conversion site: http://www.tdiclub.com/misc/conversions.html

I have a problem where my right foot always drops to the floor while driving, I am averaging 18.8 (US) MPG.
My next car is going to be a NA pre-turbo M3 and I am hoping if I drive it properly for around 10 MPG. |

Ditto! I can't drive 55. Tried it once in my new 335d and managed 40 mpg. Low 30's is the daily norm. D is awesome fun with no MPG guilt

On a long freeway run from SLC to LV, I have hit 36 mpg.
My average has been 22.6 for last 6 months.

28.0 highway.
Most of my driving is city and a lot of "DS" mode. Daily driving I'm usually at 19.0.

car said around 40-42mpg. this was on interstate at night (no traffic), on cruise control at 76mph on Florida's flat level ground. No significant speeding up or slowing down the entire tank, just cruising until i had to pull over and refuel. |

22-24mpg but I've yet to take the 335d on a lengthy, high way road trip. 22mpg in stop and go city traffic is pretty good, I'd say.

I know it is cheating but on a run through the swiss alps I managed a mainly downhill run of 18 Km and got a computer reading of 2.3 ltrs per 100 Km
That's 102.2672101 miles/gallon(US) or 122.8177984 miles/gallon(UK) You must agree that is amazing even for a 320d

On a short 30 mile mostly highway trip I saw 48 mpg on the trip computer once (my trip computer actually reads low so it was probably closer to 50 in reality).
The highest I've ever seen for a full tank is 37mpg, hand calculated, in a week of commuting about 70% highway and 30% city. |

I get a consistent 22-24 mpg in mixed city/highway driving. I drive a lot so I have to fill up once a week. I drive pretty mellow, following speed limits but I occassionally enjoy blasting onto the freeways WOT to redline.
