i was always looking through this site but never joined for some reason haha
finally im here this is my first post

here are some questions that i want to ask u guys
i really hate to sound as a spoiled kid but i cant help it.
i am 17 year old and just got my first car e90 328i 2010
bout half a year ago and i am loving every mile of it!
of course just like other kids i want to mod my car and look all cool all that
change exhaust,lower,bigger wheels and etc
but i am afraid that i am going to look like a pussy trying to look cool because i have automatic (which i regret so much)
so what are your opinions?
should i mod or not ...
(things ive done: new grill, emblem, window tint, covered side reflectors with carbon fiber sheet)
thing i want to do : new exhaust, bigger rim, carbon fiber trim,front lip)
& maybe little spoiler , not rice ones

You'll eventually realize you should do what makes you happy. Forget about what others may think of you. It's your car, have fun.

Leave age out of it unless you've already got a flamesuit on..

But seriously, it dosen't matter what transmission. Basic mods can improve no matter what type of e9x, they're great matter cars down to the 318i. Also you can replace the reflectors with color matching pieces, will look way better. Look around on the board, there's some great examples.

i have a auto? creaminz car is an auto? ... but we do have 335s.... jk. yea man like the post above do what you want, mod your car however you want. As long as youre happy at the end of the day thats all that matters.

looks good man, welcome aboard. Don't let anyone stop you from expressing your individuality. After all modding a car is a in sense an art form, for people to express themselves through the cars they drive. Do what makes you happy, no matter what there will always be haters, can't let that stop you though.

Go edit your post and take out the age. I got flamed badly when I started my thread saying I got a 2009 E92 335i at age 18 and 2011 E92 335is at 20 LOL! But do whatever makes you happy son. Look around n such. Beautiful car btw

1. You're not spoiled because it's a <40k car (maybe even<30k), a 328i at that, so get that out of your mindset. Even if you are spoiled, it's not a good mindset to be in.

2. IMO you shouldn't just mod it because other "cool kids" are doing it, you should mod it because you want to.

3. If you were to mod it, these would be the mods in no particular order; window tint, reflectors, suspension, wheels/tires, and exhaust.

4. It doesn't matter whether you have automatic or a manual, you will still not "look cool" when you lose most if not all of your (safe, on the track or drag strip) races.

5. Welcome to the forums.

P.S. - If you really are spoiled, ask/tell your parents to sell it, get a 335i that's manual, and call it a day.

Reminds me a lot of the speech my D.A.R.E. officer gave back in elementary. lol
